Foundation University Institute of Engineering and Management Sciences

FUIEMS was established in 1998, as FFIMCS, and consists of three Faculties i.e. Engineering, IT and Management Sciences. FUIEMS was one of the few Pakistani institutes offering Bachelors in Software Engineering. In 2005, FUIEMS became the first institute in Pakistan whose Software Engineering degree was accredited by Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
The institute is headed by Professor Dr. Aftab, a notorious academician of Pakistan known for his contributions in Computer Science Departments in Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute (GIKI) Topi, FAST Islamabad Campus (as founder) and Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).
